CHOCOLATE – Busting Myths

Acne – chocolate boosts the serotonin levels in the brain, it might reduce stress and actually aid in restraining acne.

Addiction – As a food substance, it has no addictive ingredients.

Cavities – Studies have not placed chocolate on a high priority on the list of cavity-causing products. The cocoa butter in chocolate may provide protection against tooth decay.

Cholesterol – Studies has shown that cocoa butter has a neutral effect on blood cholesterol levels because of the high level of stearic acid.

Stimulants – Chocolate containing minuscule amounts of caffeine 8 oz. of dark chocolate or 16 oz. of milk chocolate which is comparable to a cup of coffee

Fats – chocolate contains fat, so it easily absorbs other flavours and odours.  Please Don’t store near chemicals, cleaning products, perfume, air fresheners or anything else if you don’t want to taste that in your chocolate.
